Limpopo Valley Horse Safaris operates in Mashatu Game Reserve in the Tuli Block of south eastern Botswana. An area of approximately 70,000 hectares of unfenced nature reserve, with remnants of ancient civilizations and abundance of game including huge elephants herds, lion, leopard, African wild dogs and cheetah.
The safaris are managed and guided by owners Cor and Louise Carelsen, who share a wealth of specialist knowledge of the African bush, horses and horsemanship with their guests, ably assisted by Botswana guides. With 35 quality horses varying from 15 hand boerperds up to 17 hand shire cross thoroughbreds there is a horse to suit everyone. The horses are all exceptionally well cared for and schooled to be balanced responsive, and forward going. A maximum eight guests and a minimum of two, Limpopo Valley Horse Safaris is open from February to December.
